New BLEM Gold Tone Weissenborn Style 4 KOA Hawaiian Acoustic Guitar OHSC
This is a Vintage 1930's National Dobro or similar resonator guitar. It is in sad shape. I found this in a second hand store. I bought a have dozen guitars and had help carrying this to my van. The guy helping my forgot to latch the case and he broke the headstock. I did not know about it until I returned home. Within hours I repaired the headstock break, while it was fresh and all the wood fit perfectly back together. If you look at the color you will notice what is left of the finish on the guitar has taken on the color of the lining of the case. The neck is loose and ready to come off. This one would be a challenge to get to play nice again, but worth it. I have never seen another reso this old. The only marking on the guitar is "PAT NOV 15-32, 1887861". It comes with the original case you see in the pictures. Nice Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard. The tuners are missing a few screws.
Please look at the last picture and my other listings. I have a great collection of project guitars from the 1920's, 1930's, 1950's and 1960's. Vintage acoustic instraments made in the USA by Gibson, Stromberg-Voisinet stencil and hand painted Hawaii scenes, Kay, Kaycraft, Harmony and even an old resonator by dobro or National. I consider the pictures part of the description, please look at them closely and ask questions. All of the guitars are in need of some type of repair and have issues including missing binding, bent keys, missing buttons, missing parts, cracked sides, cracked tops, loose necks, bad repairs, flaking finishes, dings, scratches, wear, damage, lifting bridges, etc. I have not spent a lot of time studying these guitars but I beleive all the interior bracing to be intact (some braces may be loose). All the guitars are at least 95% complete, some are 100%. All of them can be repaired. What you see is what I got and what you get... I did not rob any parts. This item is being sold AS IS. Please do not ask for a refund. Bid only if you know how to fix guitars or you are happy with it the way it is.
