Penetro Resonator Guitar Vintage Dobro Extremely Rare
This is a very high quality resonator guitar made by Tut Taylor of Nashville and the Crafters of Tennessee. Tut knows his Dobros and is one of the iconic players of the instrument. This model does not disappoint! It has a spider bridge and a square neck for slide playing. The body is made of curly maple and is bound in white The 12-fret curly maple neck has
a square profile, and is topped with a bound Ebony fingerboard with intricate
Abalone inlays. The peghead is solid, with an ebony overlay featuring the
Tut Taylor® logo decal. It is fit with Kluson tuning machines finished in nickle. The resonator cone is a Tennessee hand spun aluminum resonator with an old-style
parallelogram soundwell, a 10 ½" Lyre pattern brass cover plate
and old-style tailpiece.
This instrument is in excellent condition and has hardly been played at all. It comes with the original hard shell case covered in brown alligator. I think it was made around 2001. It is quite loud and has a wonderfully smooth tone with great clarity.
